American Writers Museum
A lively, interactive museum on Michigan Avenue celebrating American literature — touchscreens, a writers' hall, typewriters to try, and rotating exhibits on everyone from Tolkien to Dr. Seuss. It's compact and surprisingly playful, good for a rainy hour. It's right in the Loop near Millennium Park.
