Chicago History Museum
An engaging museum at the south end of Lincoln Park telling the city's story — the Great Fire, the stockyards, the '68 convention, Chicago music — with hands-on exhibits and a beloved "you be the hot dog" photo op. It's a great primer on the city. Combine it with a Lincoln Park or zoo visit next door.
