Chicago Water Tower

A castle-like 1869 limestone tower on the Magnificent Mile, famous as one of the few structures to survive the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 — now a small free photography gallery. It's a quick, photogenic stop amid the Mag Mile shopping, across from the historic Pumping Station.
