Driehaus Museum
A jewel-box museum inside the restored 1883 Nickerson Mansion in River North, showcasing Gilded Age decorative arts, Tiffany glass, and opulent period interiors. It's small, sumptuous, and about an hour. A few blocks off the Magnificent Mile; check for its excellent special exhibitions.
