Arguably the most beautiful skyscraper in the world — a 1930 Art Deco spire crowned with gleaming stainless-steel arches and eagle gargoyles. The interior isn't open to tourists, but the lobby's marble and murals are worth a peek. It's best admired from a distance; try Tudor City or across the East River.
