Intrepid Museum

A military and space museum built around the WWII aircraft carrier Intrepid on the Hudson, with a flight deck of fighter jets, the submarine Growler, a Concorde, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise. It's hands-on and a big hit with kids. It's on Pier 86 in Hell's Kitchen — dress for the wind out on the deck.
