Little Island
A whimsical floating park on the Hudson at Pier 55, perched on 132 tulip-shaped concrete "pots" that rise from the river into rolling hills, lookouts, and an amphitheatre. It's small but delightful, with free summer performances. Entry is free (timed tickets in peak season); combine it with a High Line walk just inland.
