The High Line
A mile-and-a-half elevated park built on a disused freight line above the West Side, planted with wild grasses and dotted with art, overlooks, and skyline views. It's a one-way stroll best walked north toward Hudson Yards. Go early or late to dodge the midday crush, and drop into Chelsea Market or the gallery district along the way.
