Volunteer Park Conservatory

Volunteer Park Conservatory

A 1912 Victorian glasshouse in the heart of Capitol Hill's Volunteer Park, with five galleries of palms, cacti, ferns, orchids, and seasonal tropical displays. It's an inexpensive, calm escape, and the surrounding park has a water tower with a free skyline view and the Seattle Asian Art Museum nearby. Closed Mondays, and admission is free on the first Thursday of each month.
