Black Creek Pioneer Village

A living-history village recreating 1860s rural Ontario, with costumed interpreters, heritage buildings, a working mill, and old-time trades and demonstrations — a great, immersive outing with kids. It’s well north near York University and largely seasonal, so check opening dates (and special programs in autumn and the holidays) before heading out.
