Meridian Hill Park (Malcolm X Park)

An elegant Italian-style terraced park with a 13-basin cascading fountain, formal gardens, and skyline views, beloved by locals as a sunbathing and picnic spot. It is best known for the long-running Sunday afternoon drum circle, a multicultural gathering of drummers, dancers, and acrobats. Practical note: the drum circle convenes most Sundays around 3 p.m. in warm months; the park sits between 15th/16th and Euclid/W Streets NW.
